New York, NY – Earlier this week, our National Leadership was made aware of credible sexual misconduct allegations against several members. We strive to ensure our brothers are productive and righteous members of society. As such, any and all sexual misconduct allegations are taken very seriously and Sigma Beta Rho has a STRICT No-Tolerance Sexual Assault policy. In accordance with our policies, the National Executive Board of Sigma Beta Rho has terminated the membership of the individuals in question. In addition, we are working with internal and external parties to investigate this matter further and we are exploring additional punitive measures. We understand this alone won’t eradicate sexual misconduct, and we will be implementing mandatory training for all our members; other prevention methods are being explored.
